Nicolas Germain, plasticien/musicien, se produit sur scène depuis les années 80 sous le nom d’el TiGeR CoMiCs GRoUP, produisant des « JujuArt Shows, exercices visuels et sonores ». Influencé par la scène punk rock et électronique des années 70, il élabore un langage qui puise sa matière première dans l’histoire de la musique populaire et ses liens avec les arts plastiques. Un travail dans lequel, le son devient visuel et les images, sonores.
Il collabore régulièrement avec différents artistes contemporains et musiciens, comme Joël Hubaut, Antoni Muntadas, Jacques Luley, Documentation Céline Duval, Hervé Schuwey, Thierry Weyd, Pest Modern, Paul Duncombe, Adrien Lefebvre…
Il mène en parallèle ses activités d’enseignant intermédia (Ecole Supérieure d’arts et médias de Caen-Cherbourg depuis 1993) et de graphiste indépendant (NGM Production) et propose des worshops de création sonore depuis une vingtaine d’années.
Il réalise le premier «jujuart show» (Spectacle sonore et visuel) en 1988, participe à diverses compilations K7 au cours des années 80, et CD depuis 1996 (Optical Sound, Volvox Music, Station Mir, Editions Cactus, Gestation Production)
Il se produit dans divers festivals de création vidéo, lieux d’art contemporain et scènes rock.

Nicolas Germain est membre du Laboratoire Modulaire à l’Ecole Supérieure d’Arts de Caen/Cherbourg depuis 2019, il travaille autour d’espaces sonores immersifs et sur un projet de spacialisation non-réaliste en octophonie.

Nicolas Germain, visual artist/musician, has been performing since the 1980s under the name el TiGeR CoMiCs GRoUP, producing « JujuArt Shows, visual and sound exercises ». Influenced by the punk rock and electronic scene of the 1970s, he develops a language that draws its raw material from the history of popular music and its links with the plastic arts. A work in which sound becomes visual and images, sound.
He regularly collaborates with various contemporary artists and musicians, such as Joël Hubaut, Antoni Muntadas, Jacques Luley, Documentation Céline Duval, Hervé Schuwey, Thierry Weyd, Pest Modern, Paul Duncombe, Adrien Lefebvre…
In parallel, he has been teaching intermedia (Ecole Supérieure d’arts et médias de Caen-Cherbourg since 1993) and working as a freelance graphic designer (NGM Production) and has been offering sound creation workshops for the past twenty years.
He created the first « jujuart show » (sound and visual show) in 1988, participated in various compilations on tape during the 1980s, and CDs since 1996 (Optical Sound, Volvox Music, Station Mir, Editions Cactus, Gestation Production)
He performs in various video creation festivals, contemporary art venues and rock scenes.
